Performing Artists Theatre Organisation is a company of performers and theatre makers committed to giving a voice to independent theatre productions.

Initially established in 1980 by Johan van Rooyen, PATO has staged an array of award-winning productions including: Soevenier, ‘n Seder Val in Waterkloof, Op deurreis na, Speelgoed van Glas and Dis nie my Bybie nie.
